6035 Hollywood Blvd
Boulevard Recording has been a fixture on Hollywood Blvd since 1967 — born as Continental Sound Recorders, rebranded as Producers Workshop, redefined as Westbeach Recorders, and since 2011 running as Boulevard under Grammy-winning engineer Clay Blair. Four names. One room. One unbroken thread.
Unlike the multi-room complexes that dot Hollywood, Boulevard has always been a single-room studio. When you're here, you have the whole room, the whole console, the whole picture. No schedule conflicts. No divided attention. Just your record.
At the center of it all: the Sound Techniques ZR36 — one of fewer than twenty in existence. Nothing sounds like it. No really. Nothing.

Inside the Machine
Every channel on this board tells a story. Passive inductor EQ unlike any other, original 60's A Range™ preamp andtransformer design, Painton Quadrant Faders and a sound unlike anything else on this coast.
